The Alen BreatheSmart Air Purifier's easy to replace HEPA-Pure Filter combines several layers of filter technology to purify and freshen the air in your home. Polluted air first passes through Alen's washable Pre-Filter to capture large particles, extending the life of the filter. In the second layer, air moves through a unique, electrostatically charged HEPA style material that attracts and captures up to 99% of dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores and other airborne pollutants. Filter always runs hard... stays on orange or red settings constantly First off, l believe the air cleaner is working. I have slept better since I have used the filter in my bedroom. But I think the machine is running too hard and will have a short life. When on the auto setting, it runs on orange or red constantly. Even if it's on for 10-12 continuous hours. I have performed all the cleaning steps as instructed, but the air filter never runs on the blue setting. I have called Alen Corp as well for a solution, and was directed back to cleaning the sensor. Probably, the sensor is faulty, causing the machine to run too hard. But we will see... May 9, 2013
Quiet - works well when I ordered this it arrived defective. It was shipped back the next day. I did not get a replacement for over a week but when I called them they sent me one prompty, 2nd day delievery. So they tried to make things right for me. I have been using this for 3 weeks now. It has not taken care of my problem completely but I think it does a great job. There has been alot of smoke from a neighbor who has been having fires in a fire pit in the back yard. I do think this air purifer has made all the difference in being able to stay in my home while the fires are giving off alot of smoke, other wise I would of had to leave my home. When there are no fires, this a GREAT machine, very quiet, makes the air is my home fresh and clean. I recommend this air purifer and I recommend this company for striving to provide good customer service. Also I think the purifier cuts down on the dust in my home. April 29, 2013
Unit is attractive I thought the unit would have a little larger filter than it does. I am a little disappointed with the fan after looking at it. I felt That for the cost of the unit that the components would be of A little higher quality parts. I also would like to know how the Unit can filter all the air in a room when it only blows straight Up into the air. I think it needs to spread out the filtered air into The room a little better than it does April 1, 2013

Truly amazing product I live in Las Vegas were we have a lot of dust and pollin issues. My family has suffered for 3 years with repatory issues and infections. We began to use the Allen filter in January 2013 and am pleased to say since then my family has had no repatory issues. The filter is quiet runs well and I must say it looks nice. Outstanding features Have been using Allen since we received it and have it set on automatic with ION turned on. It's extremely quit and effective. With four cats all indoor we certainly are pleasantly surprised how well it works. My allergies are much improved and have been able to reduce amount/dosage of medication. Would highly recommend whichever Allen unit you need for the size room(s) you need to cover. March 13, 2013
BF350 Brethe Smart Unit My husband had a lung removed the 3rd of January 2013. We have three dogs and four cats. It was so dangerious a situation. I spent days reading on the web about the best air purfier made. Truthfully, I thought I was wasting both time and money, but, had to try. I purched two of the BF350. They were said to cover 1100 sq ft., wow!! Before I brought my husband home I had two people with severe allergies and asthma in the home for several hours. To my amazement they did great! No etchy watery eyes or breathing problems at all!! One is even and evening care giver and she spent the night in the home...no problem! My husband (69 years old) is recoving from lung removal and is still able to have the pets we love so much in our home! This is the most easy review I have ever wrote in my life! BreatheSmart for Two My elderly mother moved to Austin 3 years ago. She's had allergy problems all her life, but Austin allergies trumped all! We wanted something that was powerful, but quiet and decided on the BreatheSmart. I initially hesitated, as it was new to the market. But with the 60-day guarantee, we couldn't go wrong. So I ordered one for her in TX and one for me in VA. My mother slept so well on the first night! This really impressed her! And I could tell a difference the very first day!
