Designed for the Alen® T100 or T300 Air Purifiers, the Alen HEPA-Silver Filter combines three layers of filter technology to purify and freshen the air in your home while protecting the filter against bacteria and microbes.

Polluted air first passes through Alen's washable Pre-Filter to capture large particles, extending the life of the filter. In the second layer, air moves through a unique, electrostatically charged HEPA style material that attracts and captures dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores and other airborne pollutants. Alen's anti-microbial Silver-Ion threads are woven into the HEPA style material, protecting the filter from harmful bacteria* and microbe growth. In the final layer, clean air passes through a layer of Alen's Activated Carbon, reducing light odors and chemicals commonly found in the air from cleaning products, smoke, cooking, pets and various other household materials.

*Test results demonstrate a 99.99% kill rate on E. Coli and Staph Bacteria.

  • Over time, the HEPA-Silver Filter becomes overloaded with particles, decreasing its filtration performance. We recommend replacing your filter every 6 months for severe concerns or when running your air purifier 24/7. Replace your filter every 12 months for light concerns or when running the air purifier only as needed.
  • Rinse or lightly vacuum the removable black Alen Pre-Filter as soon as it develops a layer of visible particles. Allow it to completely dry before replacing.
  • Washing or vacuuming the white HEPA style material will damage the fibers and is not recommended.

My Alen 300 is great I have had this air filter for three years now. It is the best air filter I have used over the years. At 80 yrs of age, I need clean air. The Alen Air Filter 300 helps me breath better at night and filters the air in my 12 x 18 size apt very well. I no longer sneeze as I used to. We love it ! We own 3 x T300 air purifiers -- one in our finished basement, one in our master bedroom and the other in our son's room. Both my husband and son suffer from various environmental allergies and asthma so it was a must to buy the best air purifier out there and we believe we have done that ! Really helped my husbands allergies My husband has really bad allergies....he has been tested and they recommended air purifiers. I think we were both pretty skeptical if they worked or not but i have to say it has made a huge difference. My husband went from coughing sneezing blowing his nose constantly to being perfectly fine with hardly any symptoms when in a clean air room. It has made a huge difference and he sleeps much better. Our only problem now is that we need to buy another one cause one isnt enough...we really need one in bedroom and one on the main floor. Unit is very easy to use. I wouldnt describe it as quiet but it it is okay on noise. Sometimes the churning of the air can dry you out a bit so sometimes we turn it off during the night February 20, 2013
