Designed for the Alen® T100 or T300 Air Purifiers, the Alen HEPA-Silver Filter combines three layers of filter technology to purify and freshen the air in your home while protecting the filter against bacteria and microbes.

Polluted air first passes through Alen's washable Pre-Filter to capture large particles, extending the life of the filter. In the second layer, air moves through a unique, electrostatically charged HEPA style material that attracts and captures dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores and other airborne pollutants. Alen's anti-microbial Silver-Ion threads are woven into the HEPA style material, protecting the filter from harmful bacteria* and microbe growth. In the final layer, clean air passes through a layer of Alen's Activated Carbon, reducing light odors and chemicals commonly found in the air from cleaning products, smoke, cooking, pets and various other household materials.

*Test results demonstrate a 99.99% kill rate on E. Coli and Staph Bacteria.

  • Over time, the HEPA-Silver Filter becomes overloaded with particles, decreasing its filtration performance. We recommend replacing your filter every 6 months for severe concerns or when running your air purifier 24/7. Replace your filter every 12 months for light concerns or when running the air purifier only as needed.
  • Rinse or lightly vacuum the removable black Alen Pre-Filter as soon as it develops a layer of visible particles. Allow it to completely dry before replacing.
  • Washing or vacuuming the white HEPA style material will damage the fibers and is not recommended.

Really helped my husbands allergies My husband has really bad allergies....he has been tested and they recommended air purifiers. I think we were both pretty skeptical if they worked or not but i have to say it has made a huge difference. My husband went from coughing sneezing blowing his nose constantly to being perfectly fine with hardly any symptoms when in a clean air room. It has made a huge difference and he sleeps much better. Our only problem now is that we need to buy another one cause one isnt enough...we really need one in bedroom and one on the main floor. Unit is very easy to use. I wouldnt describe it as quiet but it it is okay on noise. Sometimes the churning of the air can dry you out a bit so sometimes we turn it off during the night February 20, 2013
Replacement Filter for the T300 The Alen filters helps both my wife and me because we are allergic to molds and dust. By filtering the air we breathe, the filters in the T300 makes it possible to breathe better, sleep better, and thus feel more energetic daily. May 4, 2012

Alen T300-Silver I have a daughter with lots of allergies. So I have this air purifier in her room by her bed. It really seems to help her asthma and allergies. I bought the silver especially for the winter months. I hope that it helps us not pass around the germs. November 21, 2011
