Just wanted to say how happy I have been over the years with my alen A375 air purifier and especially with the prompt service that I always receive. I purchased two of these units a few years back and one of them had a small problem and Alen Air replaced the unit with no problems or run arond. They stand behind their product and that means a lot for service.

air purifers
we have 3 , 2 at the house , and one in the office at work. Couldn't live without them, ther're great. thought they were a little pricey when first looked at them, but after owning them, and with the customer support, they are well worth every cent

Happy with these air purifiers
I purchased a pair of these air purifiers 2 yrs ago. I have a 3 bdrm ranch and have one in the hall by bdrms and one in the family room off the ktch. I was so impressed with their performance I bought a 3rd 9 mo later for a finished room in the bsmt equipped with wood stove.
I usually run my units continually at speed 2 which we find as an acceptable noise level. Speeds 3 &4 are about the same as noise goes and are distracting for conversation, listening, etc.
I can't tell about the effectiveness of the ionizer & UV feature, but all the best purifiers I researched, often more expensive, included these.
The replacement filters are pricey and I find they do need replacing after 6 mo time. But, they're filthy. I've had to replace the some of the UV lamps. If you can operate a screwdriver you should have no trouble.
All said, the good news, I don't see any detectable difference in my electric bill and the house is fresh.

Air purifiers with UV Lights
I had bought 2 air purifies about 3 years ago. One 350 and the other 375. My grandson was born this year and ended up getting RSV virus which is a deadly respitory infections in babies less then a year old. When he came home from the hospital I brought my 375 to my sons house for a few weeks and he did great. They brought it back to my house figureing that he didnt need it. Well a few weeks later his wheezing and congestion came back and kept getting worse so I took my 375 to their house again and he got better. So I gave it to them and ordered me another 375. He has be great ever since. I think that between the air purifier and the UV lights it has really helped him and me also.

Very happy with my Alens
I am MCS to every kind of chemical you can think of. I saw a add for Alen on the internet and contacted sales. He said he had a unit for chemicals. Boy was I happy. I ordered two and they worked so well I ordered two more. I am so happy with these Alen's, they make my life so much better. I have other allergies too and my Alen's help with them also. Pleased with the A375UV
I live in Los Angeles and my son's bedroom windows are next to a driveway where the neighbor's drive up to park in an apartment building. I was very concerned about exhaust fumes (on top of LA pollution) in addition to having A LOT of dust from city living. Allergies were not really a problem for us, I just wanted to have better indoor air quality. So I choose this unit because along with other good standard features (Hepa filter, etc) it specifically had a feature to address VOC fumes. It's not the most attractive thing on the planet (though it's not a eye sore, either) but I love that the A375UV does it all. It is very quiet on speed one, two is manageable (like white noise while you're sleeping) and speeds 3 and 4 are loud but great if you want to pump up the power and clean the air quality quickly. I often take the unit to the living room and let it run for a few hours, then put it back in my son's room. Overall I am very happy. I have even noticed less dust than before.[...]I decided to go with Alen because of their [...] value pricing. I do very much recommend this product;)

Pleased with Results
I purchased two of these units, one in my living room and the other in the bedroom. I have been very pleased with the reduction of dust in both locations. I keep it on level 2, higher levels are loud. Pleased so far.
