The Alen A350 Air Purifier features HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) style filtration, combining three layers of filter technology to purify and freshen the air in your home. Polluted air first passes through Alen's washable Pre-Filter to capture large particles, extending the life of the filter. In the second layer, air moves through a unique, electrostatically charged HEPA style material that attracts and captures dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores and other airborne pollutants. In the final layer, clean air passes through a layer of Alen's Activated Carbon, reducing light odors and chemicals commonly found in the air from cleaning products, smoke, cooking, pets and various other household materials. Alen 350 is fabulous!!! I purchased an Alen 350 a year and half ago and just recently purchased the 2 pack with my son. My son will be moving soon and wanted to have the security of knowing he was breathing clean air. They are so quiet. We had an issue with the 2 packs but Alen's customer care is incredible and sent 2 new purifiers. Can't say enough how happy I am with the Alen 350! May 5, 2013
Amazed at how much dirt it extracts from the air! I am a special education teacher who suffers from allergies and asthma. I have an Alen machine in my living room, bedroom, and classroom, as recommended by my pulmonary specialist. It amazes me how much dirt the machines extract from the air in all those rooms. With the aid of various medicines and your machines, my symptoms are under control. The machines have 4 levels of performance. Because of the noise they make, I can only use level 2 in my home, but use level 4 in my classroom. April 27, 2013
Don't sleep well without it. My husband was dignoised with cancer back in December. He also has allergies that make it dificult for him to sleep at night and breath. I rescurched all the Air Pureafiers online for several days. I keep coming back to the Allen. All of the reviews rated it the best. I purchesed the A350 and got the automatic filter replacement. We run the Allen in the room that he is sitting or sleeping in. He doesn't have a runny nose or a hard thim breathing anymore with it running. Sleeping at night has improved conciterbly. He doesn't snore as much now either, that means I sleep much better also. We love our "ALLEN" April 25, 2013
So happy with these air purifiers I did a lot of research before buying these Alen A350 purifiers. I am so sorry I waited so long!! Our house is very dusty - I'm not sure why - but it drives me crazy (it's been like this since we purchased it) and I'm constantly dusting and vacuuming -- having 2 dogs doesn't help matters. In the 2 weeks we've had these units (I bought 2, one for upstairs, one for downstairs), the amount of dust in these 2 rooms has decreased an incredible amount, the air smells fresh and clean, the house just feels fresh and clean. I am going to buy smaller units for all of the bedrooms - I hope they work as well as the 350s. They are noisy on setting 3 and up but I only run on 3 or 4 when I'm not in the room. Otherwise I leave them on 2. I don't normally rave about a product, especially something like this - but I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I just wish I had gotten them sooner!! Great purchase - very pleased My wife and I have noticed that the air in our bedroom seems fresher and cleaner, with less dust appearing on furniture. The unit is completely quiet on its low setting. The former purifier we were using emitted ozone through a negative ionization process, and I would sometimes awaken in the morning with what might be called an "ozone headache." The positive ionization process employed by Alen is ozone free, completely avoiding this problem. The ionization process can also be turned off, if one wishes to use just the HEPA filtration alone, but since positive ionization produces no ozone, there's no compelling reason I can see for doing this. We like our A350, works well, is easy to use and on the 2nd speed setting at night doesn't bother us to sleep. We are fully satisfied with the A350 air purifier. We have it in our bedroom and my wife doesn't cough nearly as much at night anymore. It does make some noise on the higher speed settings but we always turn it down to the 2nd setting when we go to bed, no problem. We will most likely get the larger Alen Breath Smart model for downstairs in the house as that is cosiderably more area to cover when we get another one in the future. Would also like to note that our order was shipped promptly and that the lady my wife spoke with on the phone was most helpful in helping us decide which model to purchase. April 2, 2013
Very good results. I am presently having work done on my house. Two bathrooms have been demolished; dust from thickly coated plaster walls and 5 in. thick cement floors quickly moved throughout the house and did even make its way into rooms which we could close off. I could taste the dust on my tongue and my breathing was difficult, waking each morning with stuffed sinuses and tight chest. I am very allergic to dust. I ordered this air cleaner and put it in my bedroom (since this is where one spends a third of the day) and also used that room as a sanctuary when i was in the house. The air is still dusty in the house as sanding is going on at a steady rate. But now I am waking up feeling clear and breathing well. My last air cleaner would never have worked this well.
