The Alen A350 Air Purifier's easy to replace HEPA-Fresh Filter combines three layers of filter technology to purify and freshen the air in your home. Best overall value
Requirements: We live in Arizona where it’s “dusty and gusty.” I am a retired engineer who spends more time around the house. We have two dogs that sleep with us. I also use a CPAP machine. After waking regularly to sneezing and congestion, I decided to focus on the bedroom area of almost 400 sq. ft.
Evaluation: The Alen A350 might not be the best outright performer. But, considering customer policies, warranty, and price, it was the best overall value. Strong equipment features included filtering system design, controls and displays, and ease of filter maintenance. Purchasers reported fewer initial problems than with many other brands. The unit’s enclosure is made from ABS plastic, which provides good impact strength at relatively low cost – and weight.
Actual Results: We’ve used the unit for almost one month. Operation is intuitive; you might not need the manual. The A350 didn’t work miracles, but measurable improvements were observed. After first plugging in the unit, we ran it for 48 hours non-stop. I haven’t had any sneezing or runny nose on awakening. The bedroom’s air quality is improved overall, and I spend more time there. When we first removed the cover after less than 2 weeks, the pre-filter needed immediate cleaning. We have received a second A350 for our living area, and are experiencing similar results.
. . . and, a Surprise: After cleaning the filter, I plugged in the unit. It did not start. I noticed that I had reinstalled the cover improperly. After the error was corrected, the unit worked fine. Apparently, the A350 has a safety interlock circuit for the cover.

Alen 350 is fabulous!!!
I purchased an Alen 350 a year and half ago and just recently purchased the 2 pack with my son. My son will be moving soon and wanted to have the security of knowing he was breathing clean air. They are so quiet. We had an issue with the 2 packs but Alen's customer care is incredible and sent 2 new purifiers. Can't say enough how happy I am with the Alen 350!

Amazed at how much dirt it extracts from the air!
I am a special education teacher who suffers from allergies and asthma. I have an Alen machine in my living room, bedroom, and classroom, as recommended by my pulmonary specialist. It amazes me how much dirt the machines extract from the air in all those rooms. With the aid of various medicines and your machines, my symptoms are under control. The machines have 4 levels of performance. Because of the noise they make, I can only use level 2 in my home, but use level 4 in my classroom.

Don't sleep well without it.
My husband was dignoised with cancer back in December. He also has allergies that make it dificult for him to sleep at night and breath. I rescurched all the Air Pureafiers online for several days. I keep coming back to the Allen. All of the reviews rated it the best. I purchesed the A350 and got the automatic filter replacement. We run the Allen in the room that he is sitting or sleeping in. He doesn't have a runny nose or a hard thim breathing anymore with it running. Sleeping at night has improved conciterbly. He doesn't snore as much now either, that means I sleep much better also. We love our "ALLEN"

So happy with these air purifiers
I did a lot of research before buying these Alen A350 purifiers. I am so sorry I waited so long!! Our house is very dusty - I'm not sure why - but it drives me crazy (it's been like this since we purchased it) and I'm constantly dusting and vacuuming -- having 2 dogs doesn't help matters.
In the 2 weeks we've had these units (I bought 2, one for upstairs, one for downstairs), the amount of dust in these 2 rooms has decreased an incredible amount, the air smells fresh and clean, the house just feels fresh and clean.
I am going to buy smaller units for all of the bedrooms - I hope they work as well as the 350s.
They are noisy on setting 3 and up but I only run on 3 or 4 when I'm not in the room. Otherwise I leave them on 2.
I don't normally rave about a product, especially something like this - but I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I just wish I had gotten them sooner!!

Great purchase - very pleased
My wife and I have noticed that the air in our bedroom seems fresher and cleaner, with less dust appearing on furniture. The unit is completely quiet on its low setting. The former purifier we were using emitted ozone through a negative ionization process, and I would sometimes awaken in the morning with what might be called an "ozone headache." The positive ionization process employed by Alen is ozone free, completely avoiding this problem. The ionization process can also be turned off, if one wishes to use just the HEPA filtration alone, but since positive ionization produces no ozone, there's no compelling reason I can see for doing this.

Love, love, love it!
It's quiet, it's attractive looking, and it works absolutely great! I can no longer see all the dust particles floating around in the rays of sunshine that come through the windows! Guests have even commented that the room smells clean! A+

We like our A350, works well, is easy to use and on the 2nd speed setting at night doesn't bother us to sleep.
We are fully satisfied with the A350 air purifier. We have it in our bedroom and my wife doesn't cough nearly as much at night anymore. It does make some noise on the higher speed settings but we always turn it down to the 2nd setting when we go to bed, no problem. We will most likely get the larger Alen Breath Smart model for downstairs in the house as that is cosiderably more area to cover when we get another one in the future. Would also like to note that our order was shipped promptly and that the lady my wife spoke with on the phone was most helpful in helping us decide which model to purchase.
