Alen is proud to announce sponsorship of the American Lung Association’s 2012 Fight for Air Climb in Austin, Texas. Join our team, the Breathin’ Easy Climbers, as we race to the top of the 30-story Frost Tower in downtown Austin on May 19th at 9AM. The ALA’s stair climb, a new breed of competitive physical events, brings together thousands of individuals across the nation to share the importance of lung health. The ALA says participants will have a “newfound respect for healthy lungs.” After the race, Alen will provide climbers a place to “catch their breath” in our Breathe Easy Lounge with bottled water, comfortable seating, and—most importantly—fresh, pure air provided by Alen Air Purifiers.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) lists indoor air pollution among the top five environmental health concerns we currently face, citing indoor air pollutants and allergens as the root of chronic health conditions like COPD, cancer, heart conditions, asthma and lung disease. In the U.S. 17 million people are allergy and asthma sufferers, health issues which can quickly turn into more serious breathing conditions. Alen Air Purifiers clean the air of allergens and airborne pollutants, tackling the issue of poor indoor air quality which can aggravate allergies, asthma and lung disease. “Our customers find air purifiers to be the foundation of taking control of their indoor air quality, which can lead to great improvements in their overall quality of life,” says Warb Lee, Alen CEO.

The American Lung Association’s mission of saving lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease is one close to us. We are an Austin-based company whose purpose is to help people Live Better. Our products are designed to help people enjoy healthier, happier lives by overcoming the adverse health effects of poor indoor air quality.

“Sponsoring this event is in perfect alignment with our company’s purpose of helping people Live Better,” says Lee. “ We are grateful for the important work the ALA is doing to educate the public on the importance of lung health.” Please join us in downtown Austin on May 19th to support the American Lung Association’s Fight for Air Climb.
