Shouldn’t your house…or your car smell like it ought to? With the Odor4 odor removal sprays you now have the power and confidence to effectively remove unwanted odors. This formulation has been used by the pros in hotels, car rental agencies and car dealerships to remove odors from fabrics, carpeting and upholstery – the very things that hold in odors and we are now making it available for in-home use.

What sets Odor4 apart from other odor removal products is its’ patented process. Odors are attacked in two ways. First, at the molecular level we neutralize the odor by converting it into an odorless particle. Second, through encapsulation the odor is surrounded and sealed off. This means that nearly instantly the odor is gone and you are left with a fresh scent. The odor will not return an hour or a day later since it is gone forever.

Use Instructions:

  • Test on an inconspicuous area prior to use.
  • Shake before use.
  • Spray a light mist of Alen™ MCP Odor Removal solution to the affected area and allow to dry for 45 minutes. Alen™ MCP Odor Removal solution will continue to eliminate odors after it has dried. Use regularly whenever malodors are present for best results.
  • Ready to use solution. Do not dilute.

How Does it Work?

While most odor elimination products on the market simply only mask an odor, the Alen™ MCP employs a four step method that is the most effective we have seen in the removal of tobacco smoke, formaldehyde, ammonia and fish odors. Odors are extremely complex and this multi-prong approach utilizes the best in class technologies for odor removal.

Process

1. We add a surfactant (a type of molecule) to the odor spray. This enables us to reduce the tension of spray droplets by approximately 75% which means the odor spray is then able to interact with the odor.
2. In this patented step, we introduce two types of reactants that eliminate the odor permanently by converting the odor to a non-volatile, odorless solid. Up until now, it was impossible to combine reactants with the surfactant since they were not compatible and ate each other up .
3. Encapsulation is the third technology where the odor is captured in the odor spray droplet. Once the liquid has dried the odor cannot be released.
4. To improve the smell of a room, a fragrance is included.

How do most other products work?

The majority of the odor elimination products that we have reviewed contain a surfactant and fragrance. They do not have reactants to remove the odors or encapsulation to cover the odors. The purpose of the surfactant for them is to mix the fragrance with the water in the odor spray since the fragrances are oil based. While we leverage this mixing ability in the MCP odor spray, the primary purpose of the surfactant is to position the reactants with the odors to effectively remove the odors.
