Alen™ MCP Smoke Odor Spray Test Results

Summary of Test

This test was conducted by an independent test lab and compared the Alen™ MCP with two other leading brands of odor spray in the removal of tobacco smoke odors from fabric. This test was measured by an independent sensory panel which assessed the presence of tobacco smoke odors after two weeks. The two week period is utilized as it most closely reflects the long term odor reduction and effectiveness of an odor spray.

Test Procedure

  1. 70 mg of tobacco smoke residue placed on 2” x 2” cloth swatches.
  2. Duplicate samples run.
  3. 1.10 grams of odor spray applied to each swatch.
  4. Swatches stored in evacuated jar for two weeks.
  5. Swatches evaluated by sensory panel after fourteen days.
