HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) Style Filtration

The most effective filter for cleaning indoor air. Alen's unique, electrostatically charged HEPA style material attracts and captures dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores and other airborne pollutants. With HEPA style filtration, Alen Air Purifiers remove airborne particles invisible to the naked eye.

Activated Carbon

A substance used for decades to remove chemicals and other pollutants from drinking water; Alen's Activated Carbon contains microscopic cracks and holes which allows it to adsorb a wide range of odors and chemicals from cooking, spoiled food, cleaning products, smoke, personal care items, and various other household materials. Adsorption (not absorption) describes the adhesion of airborne odors and chemicals to the Activated Carbon surface.

Silver-Ion Technology

Alen's anti-microbial Silver-Ion threads are woven into the HEPA style material, protecting the filter against growth of collected bacteria and microbes. Test results demonstrate a 99.99% kill rate on E. Coli and Staph Bacteria.

Molecular Conversion Powder (MCP) Odor Technology

Alen's patented MCP formula uses a molecular process to neutralize odor. Air passes through hundreds of cells filled with Alen's patented Molecular Conversion Powder where tough odors like tobacco smoke are destroyed at a molecular level, leaving the air smelling fresh and pure.

Ionizer

The Alen Air Purifier's Ionizer charges particles in the air. This causes the particles to stick together and become larger, making it easier for the filter and cleaners to trap. Alen Ionizers are ozone-safe, certified by the California Air Resources Board to produce ozone emission concentrations less than 0.050 parts per million.

Smart-Sensor Technology

Alen's Smart-Sensor technology utilizes internal sensors to detect the presence of allergens and airborne pollutants. When the Alen A375 Air Purifier is set to AUTO speed, the filtration speed adjusts when airborne contaminants are detected to ensure optimal air quality.

Pre-Filter

Alen's washable Pre-Filter is a detachable black sponge layer on select Alen Filters. It captures large particles, increasing the performance and longevity of the HEPA style material. The Pre-Filter can be removed and washed or lightly vacuumed as soon as it collects a layer of visible particles.
