Our Story

At Alen, our purpose is to help people live better.

Our global headquarters are in Austin, Texas, which is a city known for many things: live music, lively culture, beautiful Texas landscape…and allergies. The variety of trees and plants that populate the Hill Country surrounding Austin add to the beauty of the area, but they also increase the amount of cedar, oak and pollen in the air. Our company started with the idea of helping people who were suffering from allergies, but our purpose is bigger than that. For us, it's about Helping People Live Better.

We started distributing air purifiers online with great response from customers. We saw that air purifiers were an effective, non-intrusive and healthy way of removing unwanted particles from the air, helping to improve our customers' lives. As we built relationships with our customers, we learned that they were not only suffering from seasonal allergies, but also asthma, flu and odors. In addition to products that would help our customers solve these health and wellness concerns, we learned that many air purifier companies lacked direct relationships with their customers.

We decided that the best way to address our customers' needs was to design and build air purifiers ourselves. Alen introduced its first product in 2004 and continues to meet customers' evolving needs. We have developed a family of products to help with allergies, asthma, odors and chemical removal.

To ensure lifetime relationships with customers, Alen has created the first and only Lifetime Limited Warranty in the air purification industry. Alen stands behind its products and is committed to the values of Customers First, Excellence, Integrity and Teamwork.
